Captain: Albert Slap-Tail

Albert Slap-Tail, husband of Mrs. Slap-Tail (one of the Beaver building lodge building competition finalists) is captain of the Hamstervill Water Police Squad. He has been the captain for over 25 years, he was chosen to be the next Water Police captain by Old Beaver Cracked Tooth, who was the captain before him. He lives in "Beaver Town" Hamstervill, with his wife and their two children, Ramona and Flip.

Minnesota "Minnie" Claws

Minnesota Claws is one of the most experienced beavers around. Two lodges have collapsed on her and she has twice won beaver of the year for her water skiing talent. She is very good friends with Nellie Clearwater, and the two often help Dawn Summer with her training. They both hope she will make it onto the team, her test is on September 17, 2020. Minnesota got the nickname "Minnie" from Captain Albert Slap-Tail, because she was so small.

Harry Sharp-Nose

Harry Sharp-Nose has a very fine sense of smell. He has been on the team even longer then Captain Albert, he came onto it 2 years before him. Yet he is easily detracted and therefore did not get the job as Captain. Harry is not married and lives in Gerbil Town, and is a successful writer. He has written 2 novels, "Why are we here?" and "The Secrets of The Water Police", as well as two autobiography's "The Life of a Water Police member" and "My Life as an Sailor", he also wrote "How to become a writer and why you should".

Nellie Clearwater

Nellie Clearwater is one of the most recently added members of the Water Police, she did her training in New Lemmington and only recently moved to Hamstervill to work there. She did not receive much encouragement for her own training, so she tried to help the new member in training, Dawn Summer with her friend Minnie Claws. Nellie enjoys eating carrots with peanut butter, she is a excellent swimmer and in her free time is almost always in the water.

Peter Whiskers

Peter Whiskers is only 19, and already in the Water Police. When he found out his best friend Daniel didn't pass the test he almost decided to quit. Peter has a very strong beaver tail and he acts as the teams lookout. Though having a very strong tail for slapping the water, he is a poor swimmer and has no strength in his feet. In his free time, Peter enjoys reading and has a small column in the Beaver Press about what is currently going on in the Water Police. He also enjoys baking and is always in charge of making birthday cakes for the team.

Formerly In Training: Dawn Summer

Dawn Summer is the Hamstervill Water Polices member in training, she started this January and will be taking her test on September 17, 2020. Dawn is actually from New Guinea Pig City, but she has taken swimming lessons since she was 2, and is not un-experienced when it comes to working in the water. She is very close friends with Minnie and Nellie, who both support her in every way possible. She often helps out in the local library and sometimes comes late to meeting because she had her whiskers stuck in a good book.
